PUT UP CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Christmas is just round the corner and the spirit is in the air. With the all the commotion about what to buy and what to cook on Christmas, people are forgetting the best part of the spirit! Putting up christmas lights is absolutely tiring and requires patience but at night when you pull in to your driveway, it is absolutely worth any blood shed or ant attacks. I began putting p some up yesterday after school, and so far so good, so who ever reads this post stay tuned for an update with ' a picture of my house finished (by the way the picture with the house and lights is not mine,  im not THAT patient.)

  1. I just recently put up christmas lights with my mom! This is our first year doing it without my dad around. It was challenging but it was a success! We also put up our christmas tree! I love the holidays and I cant wait till' Christmas! Cant wait to see your lights

  2. I remember one year where we went all out with our. HANUKKAH lights. Wow it was not fun at all. Sure it looked really cool, but the labor of getting those lights to hang or blowing up those air filled plastic dolls was difficult. That being said, I enjoy seeing other houses who have tons of lights and imagine the hours of work it took them to make it look awesome.

  3. I love putting up christmas lights! Every year we put up our christmas lights and it is so much fun. I was so sad this year when I was told that we weren't putting up lights because we are not going to be here I was so sad. I love driving around the neighborhood looking at all the houses great lights.
Have you ever been to Disney around christmas time? The lights in MGM are beautiful. The Osborne Family, the family that donated their lights to Disney to share their lights with the world, used to do what was in that picture. It is so cool.

  4. In my neighbor hood we really can't put up lights but when we had my house in sunrise a few years back we usually went all out. One year we had a crazy neighbor who put so much crap up so we just put an arrow pointing towards his house saying DITTO I've seen a bunch of people do it now..

  5. I love Christmas! It is my favorite holiday of the year. I don't just love because of the gifts( even though I love gifts), but I feel that it is the best holiday because the family meets together for one day to share gifts to one another. We all say thank you for being so blessed to be alive and well. The whole family cares for each other and Christmas just strengthens that feeling.
