Hobbies have filled our country with fun things to do for many people over the years. When people hear the word "hobby" they usually think of something really boring such as collecting stamps (no harm was intended if you collect stamps) However there are such things as fun hobbies. Fun hobbies include scuba diving, surfing, play sports, make cool stuff, or maybe just simple like stamp collecting which may seem fun to you but not to others. One of my personal hobbies are surfing and scuba diving, both involve the ocean which I find to be my happy medium, whenever we feel like we need to get away or relax we all have that thing that soothes us, mine being the water. OK now back to hobbies. A cool hobby to try out that you would not regret would be training animals to do many things. You also have to be more of an animal person to do this, but training a dog to be a service aid dog for a blind individual or a deaf one, is rewarding to know that what you enjoy doing helps people out in some way.

I have tried training my dog but my dog seems to be very ignorant. I tried everything from giving it treats when it did something good and punishing when it was back but i guess my dog is slow. I don't think dog training is the hobby for me.
ReplyDeleteMy old hobby was to collecting model cars and displaying them all over my room and house. As i aged the hobby faded and i hope to sometime soon find a new hobby.
I have learned to train my dog an it is awesome. I have taught her to sit, bring up her paw, and to lie down. Though it is fun to teach my dog tricks, my favorite hobby is to color. It sounds pretty weird but I love to color when I am bord. I usually color any type of drawing or even a painting.
ReplyDeleteTraining a dog sounds like a lot of fun but I bet it is challenging as well, but if i had a dog i would definitely try it. When I was about nine or ten my brother and I used to collect small cars and WWE action figures. I don't think I currently have a hobby but I am searching for one. A hobby is a great way to spend free time. Usually when I am bored I don’t know what to do with myself, but if I had a hobby I would know exactly what to do. I like football and exercising maybe I can create a new hobby out of that or find a hobby that has to do with one of the two.

ReplyDeleteHmmm, taking up a hobby, i dont really have one to be honest. I mean the only thing i have time for is homework school and eating, obviously. I guess you can say going to the gym for me is a hobby but thats it. Maybe AP psych homework can be a hobby, ha ha just kidding.
